Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts

Wilson participated in the Construction Administration phase for one of the most complex performance halls in the US at the time, and the most complicated project for Miami-Dade county.

The project consists of two separate Ballet Opera House and Concert Hall buildings -with US-1 -a major road running through the site. The performance center features an open public plaza, cascading fountains, artwork, and Miami's oldest Art Deco style Sears tower.

Wilson's involvement spanned from early 2003 through to its successful completion in late 2006. PCPA was the designer and Architect of Record, representing the Owner during the construction of the Performing Arts Center.

Transbay Transit Center & Salesforce Tower

Wilson was part of the Pelli Clarke Pelli Architects' design team for San Francisco's 2007 international design competition for the city's new transportation center and office tower project.

His task was to develop Cesar Pelli's vision for San Francisco's future tallest tower slated for downtown Mission Street.

The office was awarded the project mostly because the panel loved the rooftop park idea, and they also appreciated the elegance of the tower silhouette and how it would fit with the character of the city.

Originally designed at 1,200 ft, the tower was finally completed ten years later in 2017 at a total height of 1,070 ft. with a few other minor design changes.

Haitian Commercial Center

Wilson was part of the NYC based Archilier Architecture's Shanghai office team, and was involved in the early stages of the Haitian project's Design Development phase.

The recently completed Haitian Commercial center is located in downtown Qingdao China, and includes the city's new tallest building along with two other high-rise towers and a commercial retail podium base.

The beautiful coastal city has some of China's best beer breweries, first brought over by German settlers in the 19th century.

Xian Commercial Center

Operating independently under his own registered design consulting company in Shanghai China, Wilson single-handedly completed the Concept Design for a mixed-use hotel/commercial/residential project in China's historic city of Xian.

Despite the endless obstacles arising on an almost weekly basis, including stringent building codes, restrictive fire codes, extremely tight budget, ever-changing program and direction, miscommunication, endless redesign and ridiculous time-frames -Wilson was still able to adapt, meet his objectives and complete his presentations.

Tianmu Lake Resort

Wilson was tasked with creating the Design Development package drawings for several exclusive Chinese-modern style lakeside resorts.

As part of the work scope, he also reviewed and adjusted the builder's construction drawings to ensure the project would follow the intended design.

There were a few instances where Wilson was able to provide alternative solutions to overcome local building regulation issues -while maintaining the original design intent.

Resort Villas

As part of the exclusive resort hotel experience, guests can also book their vacation retreats in private villas.

Wilson participated in the Concept Design phase of these resort villas.

Residential Homes

From single family homes, to multi-family residences, to high-density urban developments, Wilson has done conceptual design, construction drawings, site visits and punch lists.

He has a keen eye for finding issues on the job sites before they become more expensive to remediate.

Masterplanning

Wilson has completed analysis and planning on sites of scales ranging from large urban massing studies -down to interior reception lobbies.

He has participated in the study of a 22,000 acre wilderness resort site planned for the California Wine Valley region.

He has also participated on several large urban design project sites for future residential communities.

Office Fit-Out Construction

Wilson has worked on Design/Build projects, where he was personally responsible for the initial concept proposals, furniture selection, finishes, and involvement in the construction process.

Wilson has worked closely with clients such as Ebay & PayPal to address their specific needs and concerns -as well as with contractors to ensure the final walk-through has minimal remediation work before occupancy.

Wilson has also performed Punch Lists as well as quality control and quality assurance on behalf of both the contractor and the client.

Retail Centers

Wilson has worked on large Commercial Retail center design -hosting large anchor shops, luxury brands, F&B, fine dining, and a range of entertainment venues including cinema theaters, game centers, and public plazas with the capacity to hold large family entertainment events.

Wilson has also designed small boutique-style shops for clients with specific requirements to suit their unique brands.

Shops & Cafes

Part of Wilson's design experience includes a contemporary style bookshop in a new high-density residential community -within a booming district just outside of Beijing.

Another is a new Cafe within the podium of an existing downtown corporate office building near Shanghai's historical East Nanjing Walking Street.

The Cafe was an additional design service provided after winning a design bid for the renovation of the entire building exterior and interior public spaces.

Landscape Design

Wilson has created concept ideas for large public green spaces and plazas, as well as smaller private venues such as an outdoor terrace lounge, a penthouse office outdoor garden and green roofs.

Wilson has also designed a cascading water garden landmark -as part of an aging popular department store brand's initiative for a new renovated and modernized look. The design proposal included a new facade redesign featuring a vertical green wall and new exterior LED displays and lighting throughout.
